Hell's Kitchen is now into its second and final week, so we suppose it's about time to have a look and see who'll win the bloody thing – because it's not going to be you, that's for sure.

This series of Hell's Kitchen was famously going to be the toughest ever, thanks to head chef Marco Pierre White – the man who made Gordon Ramsay cry. We're not sure exactly how Marco Pierre White made Gordon Ramsay cry, but we'd imagine it's something to do with him being a bit homeless-looking. Anyway, this season of Hell's Kitchen must be the toughest because Lee Ryan walked out after a couple of days. And if Hell's Kitchen was too tough for Lee Ryan – who knows all about hard work because he was in a boyband once – then we can only marvel at the inner strength of the remaining Hell's Kitchen contestants for being able to make some dinner without having a full-on nervous breakdown.

But who'll win Hell's Kitchen? That's right – it's time for a week of Hell's Kitchen betting odds, and we're going to start by looking at the chances of Adele Silva, Anneka Rice and Abigail Clancy, with betting odds from Paddy Power

1% pay rise is an insult, says son of dead nurse. The son of a nurse who had inspired almost her whole family to go into the same profession before her death from coronavirus has described the 1. Nicole Auerbach covers college football for The Athletic. Nicole was named the 2020 National Sports Writer of the Year by the National Sports Media Association, becoming the youngest national. Southern Nevada's award-winning source for news, sports, politics, entertainment and opinion; locally owned and independent since 1950.

Adele Silva – Adele Silva is of course most famous for playing the bitchiest character on Emmerdale. Admittedly that doesn't take a lot considering Adele's co-stars are that woman off Dancing On Ice and some cattle, but since Adele Silva has managed to have sex with one of her teachers and her actual brother on Emmerdale, she probably deserves the plaudit. And this inherent bitchiness has carried through to Hell's Kitchen, which has seen Adele Silva become animal murderer extraordinaire. While her other Hell's Kitchen contestants all freaked out when asked to pull the heads off a bunch of live langoustines, Adele happily got stuck in covering herself with all sorts of animal gore – coincidentally the only lubricant that Adele hadn't already smothered herself in during her FHM covergirl phase. There's a chance that Adele Silva's enthusiasm for murder will help her win Hell's Kitchen, but we're just upset she didn't target her bloodlust more wisely when Lee Ryan was still around. Current Hell's Kitchen betting odds – 11/4

Anneka Rice – Anyone around in the 1980s will remember two things about Anneka Rice – her arse jiggling around on Treasure Hunt and her inexplicable ability to organise firework displays for disabled kids at short notice on Challenge Anneka. However, in the intervening years Anneka's brain has melted down almost entirely, to the point where she'll now spend huge tracts of Hell's Kitchen staring off into the middle distance like a hypnotised chicken. The public's revisited fondness for Anneka Rice might see her do good on Hell's Kitchen, but we already smell a rat. When Hell's Kitchen started, Anneka Rice made a big deal of hating kitchens, which is weird because her CV includes stints as a guest on Ready Steady Cook, a contestant on Come Dine With Me, presenter of a Channel Five show called Dinner Doctors and presenter of a horrible Sunday morning ITV show about cookery with Andi Peters. However, maybe Anneka Rice is right about being useless in a kitchen, because all these shows were shit. Current Hell's Kitchen betting odds – 16/1

Abigail Clancy
– Abigail Clancy comes to Hell's Kitchen being vaguely famous for a handful of things – for not winning a model talent-search TV show, for being the girlfriend of the lanky footballer who dances like a robot, for cheating on said footballer with a builder during a World Cup match with enough cocaine apparently up her nose to sink a battleship and for being in a useless sub-Atomic Kittens band that didn't even get signed. According to press blurbs, Abigail Clancy is determined to make her mark on Hell's Kitchen to prove that models do eat sometimes, like four days before a photoshoot and on their mother's birthday. However, while Abigail Clancy is proving to Hell's Kitchen viewers that models can eat, she's not doing a very good job at proving that models can cook, and her Hell's Kitchen tenure has been mostly marked by dumbly nodding through a range of semi-convincing menial tasks. Abigail Clancy probably isn't going to win Hell's Kitchen, but who cares? She's prettier than most people and her boyfriend is rich, so it's not as if she'll ever need to do, you know, stuff. Current Hell's Kitchen betting odds – 6/1

Hell’s Kitchen is an American reality television cooking competition (based on a UK format) broadcast on Fox and hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Betting on Hell’s Kitchen

The series begins with the contestants split into two teams, a red team and a blue team, competing in various cooking challenges. After the players are split into teams, the series begins with each chef preparing a signature dish and presenting it to Gordon Ramsay to taste.

How To Read Betting Odds

Hell

From this first challenge you can get an idea of which Chef has a natural cooking flair. Getting the basics right is a must, having a dish that is a little too bland is fine as this means the chef has room for development, getting a dish that has too many flavour elements is a worry though, if your contestant is doing that from the start you and Chef Ramsay will worry about their palate.

This challenge is also the first time we get to see how the contestants respond to criticism, this is key to the betting. Chef Ramsay is a very vocal man, a man used to his own way, any contestant who doesn’t take the criticism well and responds verbally is unlikely to last. This is because they seem unwilling to develop and also because Chef Ramsay does not like to have his authority challenged unless he is purposely trying to ignite a spark or a passion in someone.

Ramsay is Boss

Hell’s Kitchen gives Ramsay the power that no other Judge has in a reality TV show. Ramsay, instead of a full panel of judges or a majority vote by the contestants, decides everything. Ramsay has the power to override the basic format of the competition, such as ignoring the losing team’s nominations for elimination, eliminating contestants from a winning team, eliminating contestants in the middle of dinner service, or changing around team members.

Each remaining episode begins with a team or individual challenge; the winning chef or team may get a reward, while the losing team or players are required to perform some form of manual labor, usually consisting of kitchen duty in preparation for the dinner service, but may also be cleaning the dormitories or decorating the restaurant for a particular event. Then we go into a full scale dinner service where Ramsay does not cook but controls the kitchen as a Head Chef type and barks orders at the contestants.

HellExplanation

After the dinner service, Ramsay will select the winning team who are safe, while the losing team must decide who is their weakest member. Alternatively, if the service is exceptionally bad (or good), Ramsay may declare no team the winner (or name the teams as joint winners), requiring both teams to nominate someone for elimination.

What Type of People Do Well?

As stated before sometimes Ramsay overrules the nominations and chooses someone else entirely, and in rare cases of an exceptionally good service, will not eliminate any of the contestants.

One thing that can be done is by looking through history you can develop a certain idea of what kind of contestant Ramsay is looking for.

Hell's Kitchen Betting Odds For Today

Chef Ramsay shows no gender bias, but he does favour a certain age group, The oldest ever winner of the show is Dave Levey at the age of 32. This means that anyone over this age must generally by discounted from your betting portfolio.
